Liz Morland MAR Mobile Reflexology in Romsey

Reflexology is a holistic therapy which can help the body cope with illness. I use gentle pressure techniques on the reflexes of the feet to support clients through times of ill health and also offer maintenance treatments to support well being.

As a fully trained and professional reflexologist I would not diagnose or proclaim to cure any medical condition. Reflexology works alongside western medicine to help the body achieve balance and to help you to feel great.

Reflexology helps the body unwind and recharge. We put a lot of pressure on our bodies to keep going under difficult circumstances, often taking our health for granted. Deep relaxation, which gives the body time to repair itself, will also have the effect of improving sleep, releasing tension in the body and you will notice an increased sense of wellbeing. A course of reflexology is the best way to experience the powerful benefits and most of my clients start off with a course of weekly treatments then progress to monthly maintenance treatments.

I have clients with a wide range of health conditions and some with no health concerns at all. Among others, I see clients with fibromyalgia, tension headaches, neck pain, digestive problems, anxiety, and hormone imbalance.

I also have a particular interest in helping women who are living with difficult menopause symptoms.

About Reflexology. AoR footmap

Reviews for mobile reflexology sessions

"I booked my first reflexology treatment with Liz because I was curious about its claim to facilitate a healthy body through pressure points in my feet. Having now had a series of treatments I look forward to a very relaxing hour and Liz’s explanations on how my body connects and protects itself. Some of the problem areas Liz has identified I recognise and am feeling ongoing improvements or sometime an ache just disappears by the end of the treatment. My feet definitely benefit, they feel light and supple with a strong pulse and good blood flow which was commented on at my Type 2 diabetic check-up. Liz comes to my house with her very comfortable reclining chair and atmospheric music. I have no hesitation in recommending her treatment" …. JMP Chilworth, May 2021

CPD (Continuous Professional Development)

It is important that I continue to expand my skills and keep my training up to date.

I very much enjoy learning new techniques and have met some wonderful reflexology tutors.

About Reflexology. Sally Kay

Reflexology for Lymph Drainage

Reflexology for Lymph Drainage (RLD) is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay, whilst working in Cancer Care. I trained with Sally and she has inspired me with her techniques for helping anyone with lymph drainage issues.
Her protocol was originally designed for use with secondary lymphoedema and has shown impressive results. Lymphoedema is defined as tissue swelling due to the failure of lymph drainage and this sometimes occurs following surgery for breast cancer. However, RLD can also be used to help clients suffering with a wide range of conditions who can benefit from support to the lymphatic system.

About Reflexology. Lynne Booth

Vertical Reflexology Technique (VRT) - Lynne Booth

Vertical Reflexology Technique (VRT) is a unique method of weight-bearing reflexology which is briefly applied to the tops of the feet and backs of the hands. It is adaptable for the standing, seated and reclining client. This multi award-winning method can support all systems of the body and appears to precisely target and stimulate the energetic reflex response. It was discovered and developed by Lynne Booth.

Lynne discovered VRT while supporting mobility issues associated with older people in nursing home care where she has held a clinic for over 27 years. Her techniques are great for clients who have mobility issues or those who would find it difficult to raise their feet and she also taught us how to incorporate her techniques into standard reflexology sessions. They are particularly good for clients with musculoskeletal issues.

About Reflexology. Yvonne Lockhart

Advanced Hand reflexology

All the reflex points which can be accessed on the feet, can be worked on the hands.

Yvonne Lockhart was brilliant. The training was packed with useful information. We learned to assess the hands for signs of reflexes with stress, tension or trauma. She taught us system specific routines which was very useful. I really enjoyed studying advanced hand reflexology techniques and I think clients will be surprised at the deep relaxation which can be achieved.
